Hello!! Welp.. It's been a wonderfully busy week yet again! I am loving it here in Georgia! The weather has cooled down significantly the last two days.. mostly due to the tropical storm that is passing through.. It rained cats and dogs yesterday and there is a whole lot of flooding in Tennessee right now... luckily there isn't here in Georgia.
We went up to Ooltewah for a Zone activity yesterday and it was a lot of fun.. although I am definatley starting to feel old in the mission. I didn't recognize half of the people because most of them have come out recently.. Time is just flying by.
Well our little spanish investigator (Eli) got baptized on Sunday before church!! .. which meant that we had to wake up at 4:30 am to be there to fill the font by 5:45. It was totally worth it! He is now a member of the church... and on his way to Florida. Sadly he is moving, but I pray that he will continue strong in the gospel and that he will be able to find more work down there. He is such a sweet guy! Yesterday he brought Sister Laulea and I flowers to say thanks for helping him so much! It was so nice! I think he has a crush on Laulea.. because he basically confessed his love to her.. but of course she didn't understand it because he was speaking spanish! I got a good laugh! Haha oh how I love that silly guatamalean!
We have been working with a lot of people here and we are excited to see what will happen in the coming weeks. I can't believe that we are already on week 4 of the transfer.. Time is going by way too fast! I can't believe that one year ago i was saying goodbye to all of my MTC friends and heading to a totally unknown part of the world. I was terrified, but now that I have been here a year I have learned so much and have fallen in love with Tennessee and the south! I can't wait til you guys can come back with me and meet all of my amazing southern friends!
Speaking of amazing friends!! Christina is finally getting baptized!! We had permission to get a ride up to Johnson City to go to the baptism, but President Irion called me on Friday and said that he didn't have a good feeling about us going. So of course I agreed that we better listen to that prompting. I was heart broken, but I know that he is inspired of God and that he was just looking out for my safety. But I do have permission to call her and congratulate her! I can't wait to talk to her! It's been so long! She is getting baptized on Thursday which is exactly one year since i got to Johnson City! I am so excited for her!!!!!! I just love her so much!
Well.. how did the baby blessing go? I can't wait to meet the lil guy!
How is the family? I haven't heard from any of the siblings in a while.. I hope you are all alive and just simply too busy having so much fun that you just don't have time to write your favorite little sister.. and that you haven't completely forgotten about me.. ;)
