Wow I cannot believe that it's already August! This time last year I was getting ready to come out here! AHH! What a crazy good year it has been! I love it here so much! I don't want to leave!
This week has been a good week. It's slow right now and super hot so it makes it hard to get out there and tract.. but we are still hopeful that we will find some people soon. We received a referral from some missionaries in Arizona. This girl would be in the YSA branch. We are hoping to contact her soon. She sounds pretty legit.
Angie and Josh haven't been at church the last 2 weeks. We are worried about them. We are supposed to have a meeting with Angie tomorrow.. but we will see if she is actually home. It's been so hard.. We haven't been able to get ahold of either one of them. I didn't come here to baptize someone and then just see them drop off.. ahh! Please keep them in your prayers. I pray that we will know what to do to help them.
This week we have been studying the Christ-like attributes in Preach My Gospel in preparation for Zone Conference.. it's been really good! I have learned a lot.. especially how much I still have to learn to become more Christlike. I love learning! It's amazing how much we think we know.. and then the Lord show us how much we still have to learn and grow! I am so glad that we can grow and become more than we are now. That we aren't stuck where we are! We can be better. We can be stronger.
Well not much else to say! It's all kind of the same thing day in and day out.. but it's oh so good!
