Wow! This week has been a rollercoaster of emotions for me! We went from preparing Tim for his baptism to having him drop us on Thursday. It was so hard not to get emotional as I watched him talk his way out of the best thing that could ever happen to him. He just isn't ready.. as much as we ( I ) wanted him to be. I have learned a lot from teaching Tim.. It's been so hard to see him choose to fall off the path, but I have gained a greater understanding of how our Heavenly Father must feel when we decide to "drop" Him. I am so grateful that He continues to love us no matter how dumb we are sometimes.
We have been praying and working so hard to find the "elect" I know that God has been leading us in many ways. The other day we were praying and pondering about whether or not Brenda and Ron are the Elect.. if they are ready or if we are just kind of wasting our time. We were over there teaching them the other day and someone came over to help with their housing.. well we decided that we needed to leave and went tracting instead. it was good because we ended up finding someone that we think is truly elect. Plus we got to teach her mom too! They are both Awesome!! Hanna and Abby have really been prepared for this gospel. We also found some awesome people tracting this neighborhood we had planned on tracting for a while!
So basically we are staying busy with the Elect and with doing the best we can! I love it here so much! I am growing so much and I really am dedicated to the work here! I never want to leave! I really want to serve one more transfer here at least.. I know it's not my say.. and I will go wherever I am needed.. but a girl can still wish right?
Sorry this is short. I'm actually just not feeling too well today.. just the change of seasons working on my allergies/cold...
