Greetings from Chattanooga State College. I am currently sitting in the commons area emailing with my companion and another set of Elders. We came down to Chattanooga for the day. :] I love this city! There is so much to do! It's so nice to be out of smalltown USA for a few hours haha!
This past week has been really good! Last Monday we went to Cleaveland to hang out with Elder Jensen and Elder Condie. They are seriously so awesome! They make me laugh so hard! We went to Hobby Lobby to try and find something to do. We were debating on getting kites and flying them or getting stuff to do T-shirts. We couldn't make up our mind so we decided to get food. We went to a cute little italian restaurant called Gondaliers. It was really good. Sister Y and I split a pizza. Yum! After that we went for a walk along the river there. It was so pretty outside. It was in the high 50's and the sun was out! It was a nice break from the freezing temps last week. We went to the Montgomery's house for dinner. They are the coolest couple here! They feed us once a week.. sometimes even more than that! He is a retired air force guy and she is from Germany... so sometimes we eat really interesting food. But most of the time it is really good! That night we ate chinese food! mmm! After that, they came out on a team up with us to teach a less active family that we are working with.. It went pretty well.. there is still a lot of work to do there...
Tuesday was so nice! I went on exchange in Rockwood. I was with Sister Harmon. She is from Arizona. She is really cool. I had fun in Rockwood. Wednesday we exchanged back and met up with the Elders in Crossville. They are Elder Durrant and Elder Roisum. I love them! I served in the same zone as Elder Roisum in the Kingsport Zone. He is so much fun! I was really excited to see him again. We took them back to their car and we stopped at this awesome waterfall called Ozone falls. We took some pictures. I will have to send you some next week. Apparently the movie the Jungle Book ( the one with real people) was filmed there. The part where the kid jumps off the waterfall. Cool huh? Wednesday night we went to sister Wyman's house as well. She is so awesome I just love her!
Thursday was pretty good. We went tracting in the morning. we met a few really cool people.. no return appointments.. but that's ok. We met our neighbors.. there was a moving van outside their house so we decided to go over and see if they needed any help. THey declined but we had a really good conversation with them anyway. They will for sure be members someday. haha! We made cookies for some of our investigators that we haven't been able to get ahold of for the last few days. We took them to them and it went ok.. we saw mike and he was super nice. He said that he still wants to learn, he just works 2 jobs and is busy all the time... it's gonna be hard to wait it out and be patient... but that's ok.. all in the lord's timing right?
Friday and saturday were pretty un eventful. other than the fact that the weather was perfect!! I loved it! The last few days the weather has been so beautiful! Yesterday we even ate lunch outside... I loved it! I even got a little pinK! That is my kind of winter.. but unfortunatly it is going to be getting colder.... sad day..
anyway.. I better go. I love you all! Hope you are all doing well. Sorry this is short but I have limited time to e-mail tonight... I love you all so much! Have a wonderful week!!
